Has anyone taken the time to ask Atheon if he has found Jesus? Maybe he's just lonely sitting in his vault with nothing but exploding flying pyramids surrounding him. Maybe his friends are just on the other side of the time gate but he can never cross over because if he did he would just be lost in time forever. It's nothing that a visit from some friendly Mormons wouldn't fix.
