I personally liked that skill was important in Iron Banner. People expected to be running around letting their gear do all the work for them. This new Iron Banner will be dumb. You need to be at least lvl 20 to participate which is just stupid. All you're going to see are maxed out 30s everywhere. Gear still wont matter because everyone will have the same pimped out gear. If Bungie makes it a habit of listening to the retards, we are in for a rough ten years.

Is it stupid to have to have at least hit the soft-cap to be able to compete in an event that is basically their version of an end-game pvp event? lol. Dude. They want people to strive towards something. Sorry you can't bring your level 19

Nobody will notice the advantages their gear is giving them. It will be a fair playing field, just like crucible. Iron Banner was a cool idea because everyone got a chance to try. Running into low level players was inevitable. Everyone is complaining that levels didn't matter in Iron banner. If everyone is the same level, they still wont. A cap of any kind kills the idea of Iron Banner.

I anticipate I'll be 30 as well. All I need is my gloves. And I'm not worried. We will still be able to bathe in the tears of those foolish level 25's :)

but the way iron banner was before the patch, it was exactly like the crucible. there was nothing to differentiate the two besides the name. if you want purely skill based pvp, thats what crucible is for. furthermore, i think youll still see variety in the iron banner. there will be consolation prizes for losers like me, which we can save and eventually cash in somehow, so itll never be a TOTAL wash. and as infrequently as i play PvP, i doubt myself, or other PvEers, will ever have all the maxed iron banner gear. thats probably just going to be for the seriously dedicated iron banner participants.
