People are free to enjoy the game however they like, but I share your concern. I recently completed my first 100% Hard Mode run on the raid, and I didn't feel any sense of accomplishment. I ran into the same thing you did: Warlocks that wanted to cheese the bosses off of the map. I was a Hunter, and my role on the Atheon fight was to kill myself as soon as I spawned. If it's still in the game, then it's fine that people take advantage of it, but I personally can't wait till both bosses are patched. I won't be playing the Raid on Hard until it's fixed.
