Engram Mechanic Argument
So I play with a good friend of mine a fair bit, and with conversations comes arguments of course! To dumb it down my friend has been complaining that I'm constantly finishing off enemies when he lowers their health.
He believes that he doesn't get many "rare" drops because of me doing this, and believes that since I'm claiming the kill he will not get drops from the enemies that I finish off.
So here's the question that I ask you. Will you receive engrams from enemies that you've dealt damage to if another player finishes the enemy off?

You don't even have to do damage to the enemies, just be in a certain vicinity

I was flying by on my sparrow in Russia, passed a dude shooting up some creature idr what. And a legendary dropped for me! Turned in to the Truth 😁 So no, killing doesn't mean better drops.

you just have to be near someone who kills somethign to get drops from it.

Lol yes he will get engrams even if he doesn't hit them. I have gotten plenty of engrams from enemies my friends killed. Tell him to stop being a whiny little kid.
