So, if my legendary armour engram turns into legendary armour that I DON'T want I can easily break it down for shards, if my legendary weapon engram turns into a legendary weapon I DON'T want I can easily break it down for energy, hence the reason just giving the mats IS retarded. Daily, weeklies, raid x3 characters means I'm not exactly lacking in mats.
