I hope which ever designer thought it'd be cool for us to go run around the crucible killing with a void damage to get this revolver has a strong a beautiful family.
I hope he has a son that he's proud of and hopes to see grow and flourish into a proud young man with his entire life ahead of him.
And then I hope somebody kills that son with void damage.

I must say, the tedious bounty is well worth it. Thorn is an absolute monster in PvP and when you get the DoT upgrade, no one stands in your way. I never thought I'd be a hand cannon guy, but thanks to thorn, its all I use. Also, if you're having trouble with the void damage kills, try finding a void sniper and use that and hang back sniping people, I did this part of the bounty in about 7-8 matches.

11 Rispostewow, you must suck at pvp like super hardcore. do you play by having your pet chew on the controller or something? im not a good pvp player by any means but i finished this part in 5 or 6 matches using a void fusion rifle. stop your whining and actually complete the super easy mission....then complain about the very hard strike that took me 6 tries to beat

All i need is the vanguard void shotty & void machine gun @ 300 crucible points (over 3 weeks) & maybe i'll solo the "vault of ass" for Aetheon's Revenge (void AR). Then i'm going to magically turn my negative k/d into a positive k/d !! .....,OMG !!..... the......excitement......is......killing......me.....!! P.S..... did i mention i BLAMming hate the crucible.......i.....i feel violated bungie......... :,(

3 RisposteThe strike after the pvp is even worse, it's a lvl 26 strike with heroic mod on and says very hard. My friend and I could not complete it even though we all 27-28. :-(

2 RisposteModificato da BrokenLance: 10/8/2014 5:20:01 AMlol the gun is terrible anyway. range, impact, stability, mag size, reload speed (nearly 4 seconds!) of a level 1 hand cannon. it's upgrades just patches some of it's massive weaknesses, they don't actually make it into a good weapon. it might be worth getting whenever they finally get around to buffing it (whenever that is) but for now your time is more wisely spent doing nightfalls, crucible, weeklies strikes and etc for an actually good weapon. i played at a friends apt on his guy and he had hawkmoon... holy crap, even without upgrades it's a true top tier weapon worthy of being called exotic.

4 RisposteI'm at 400+/500 after well under 10 crucible matches and i'm not even good at pvp. But i probably have it easier than some as i'm a warlock/voidwalker. My grenades are void, my super is void and i have legendary fusion rifle with void ;) It's not that hard as long as you don't die twice as much as you kill, you even get points just for assists i think...

Thorn is pretty decent w/ the DOT damage in crucible (assuming you're scoring hits with your precious 6 shots) but otherwise it's not that great. But your post gave me a good laugh lol.

2 Risposteseeing a lot of "get better n00b" and "use better weapons scrub" and I disagree. This was an annoying part of the bounty, I ended up having to buy guns from the gunsmith that actually did void, my mains all did arc at the time. So I was running around with a POS MG and Snipes in PvP hoping to god i didnt die, cuz that set you back. Im not afraid to admit I played like a little bitch to get this. Did Control and just camped by a zone and waited for ppl to walk into my scope and kill them. But when your KD decides how fast you get this its the only thing to do. Why would I actually try to win a game when Im working to get a bounty? theres no drive there, just do what you gotta do to get it and be done. Bottom line these PvP steps on these exotic bounties only encourage ppl to play like little bitches

Yea for every 10 people who say they dislike this bounty and its 2 big faults (The 500 points in the crucible using void damage and the Xyor the Unwed fight) there are 2 people who say: I did this in 15 minutes because I am badass. Whelp its one gun I'll never get and I am not sad about it at all. There is probably a bunch of stuff in the game I will never see and that is part of the intrigue of it all.

I was getting frustrated too until I said F*** it and changed my playstyle just to get those void damage kills. Equip a void sniper and stay back all game and just get your kills that way. Equip void machine gun and go for the ammo every time. I got it rather quickly after that.

1 RispondiThe bounty itself I didnt have a problem with, it was challenging but it was for an exotic handgun that can poison people so it should be challenging. Then I got the gun, and all I could say was "well..at least it looks cool". Then I went back to crucible and the rng gods blessed me with hawkmoon, suros, and Plan C all in the same weekend. Moral of the story-we all get our exotics eventually one way or another.
