This post is about people skipping the Lvl 24 enemies in the Darkness Zone, not wasting time in the Rocketyards farming Lvl 8 Mobs.

There is only one strike where you can skip the darkness zone mobs and that is the mobs that spawn with the tank on the val-taharik or whatever his name is on mars. And even then it doesn't matter when the boss dies as the mobs instantly convert to patrol trash once the tank boss is down..
