Serious layer 2 networking issue with your game.
Both my roomate and I play behind a modem->router setup. While we were playing together he would have no issues and I would get disconnected every 5 minutes with generic errors such as leopard,flatworm,jackrabbit etc. I did an experiment where I released our ips and got an ip before his.

end 192.168.1.21
My ip was 192.168.1.17
His ip was 192.168.1.18
Now this time I have no issues at all playing and he's getting disconnected constantly with generic networking errors. Is your game not compatible with multiple consoles on the same network? My next step is to dump traffic to see catch the disconnect.

My son and I play on two consoles in the same house and we just spent 6 hours on the raid last night together without being disconnected. XBOX1 & XBOX2 -> Gigabit Switch (NetGear JGS524) -> LinkSys WRT610N -> Cable Modem -> 30mb Internet Connection I'm not sure if you're hard-wired or wifi, but perhaps something on your local segment is having issues? Do you have UPnP enabled? I've had issues with that before.
