He actually is incorrect.
Now that you get a guaranteed reward of 2-3 engrams...The 10% chance on killing 20 mobs with a 1% chance of a legendary, probably less actually, isn't worth the time. - It actually isn't.
I received 2 legendary engrams as rewards for completion last night...Many blues. Only had 1 blue drop in all 4 strikes from a mob.
It's random chance vs a guarantee. Statistics don't lie.
That guarantee is > a random chance, every single time. Just sayin.

Modificato da Twohothardware: 10/6/2014 4:55:08 PMYou have absolutely no guarantee of getting 2 ENCRYPTED engrams which are the only ones worth getting OR getting 3-4 end game roll rewards which is a rare occurance. A lot of times you will get shaders that you already have or two already decrypted blues that aren't worth the time it takes to dismantle. End game roll PLUS random chance results in a much more consistent outcome over a period of time than simply relying on the RANDOM CHANCE of getting a good end game roll.

You just said the same thing in two different ways. End game engrams are a reliable source because of the guarantee as opposed to the random chance found in the mission... Also leveling the cryptarch does matter since those engrams translate into an additional chance at a legendary... Ultimately the guarantee of end mission engrams is greater than the chance of an engrams, farming.
