he's not saying its because of the level, hes saying it's because of the strike playlist
given my drops in the tiger playlist I'm inclined to agree, I get quite a bit more frequent drops than I have from killing patrol enemies while farming mats
and neither of us are saying to farm the mobs, you just kill everything you go past. I usually get 2-4 blue engram drops and then 1-2 more in end screen, per strike, without "farming" anything.

Those increases in chances are in the end game roll, not the drop rate from enemies. It only seems like you get more drops from the level 24 strike because there are more enemies in a shorter time. I get the same number of rare drops in the level 8 strike than I do in the Tiger Strike. And if he turns out to be right that the drop rate increases for higher level strike mobs, then what difference does speed running through it matter? Nearly every single one except the Moon strike require you to kill all the enemies to progress. The twenty extra on the way to the strike start don't matter.

Modificato da OJ191: 10/6/2014 5:48:13 AMto clarify, I wasn't specifying whether it was because of the strike level or just being a strike at all, but when I play strikes I definitely notice more drops (though it's arguable how much of a difference it makes if you find an area with higher spawn density I guess) And actually there are quite a few areas in most strikes that you can just ignore enemies and pass through, even the to-level areas.
