Because while it could just be an edge case to do with luck/probabilities, I most definitely get more frequent engram drops killing everything on my way through tiger strikes than I ever did killing patrol enemies while farming mats

You can do some of the Strikes in like 6-8 minutes. 1 blue engram every 3-4 minutes is bound to be better than whatever the engram drop-rate is. (I do kill enemies though, it depends what I'm in the mood for. Some people just enjoy speed-running, to see how fast they can complete it and maximise their time.).
