When you grind out the 25 strikes for the exotic bounty, the time savings add up. A two minute difference over 25 strikes comes out to around an hour of play time.

Not to mention i dont think most people that are not running ahead understand that the mission/strike doesnt actually start untill you get into the darkness area's... so YA we like to run ahead of your dumb ass's since you dont seem to understand where the mission actually starts. Frankly i wish more people would flippin run in then i wouldnt be halfway through the strike when my teamates finally come in. One guy i came across would just run to the end part and die and pull every one else in 10 minute strikes runs, did like 4 with him it was great.

I was so frustrated with that exotic bounty .-. I finally did the 25 strikes in a day only to find out I have to wait for Xur to come again.
