Since the patch I've received an exotic primary weapon and three legendary engrams at the end of strikes and get at least one blue engram most times. Trash mobs give blue engrams but mostly greens which I no longer even pick up on purpose. I skip every mob I can on a level 24 strike, but I don't mind if the other two guys clean the trash mobs of they want. You play your way and we'll play our way. And strikes are the best way to farm marks for me. Most strikes can be done in under 20 minutes.
