There are two sides to this
at the droppoint it's common sense to run to the beginning of the strike and don't care about the "outside"
Once you are in the strike however you have to work as a team to complete it

I have pressed through many strikes by myself (leaving the team behind). if you dont need them then you dont need them. speed running is a time honored gaming tradition and there is no need to get butt hurt because the randoms dont wanna wait around for you.
