Good answer! Now... why Thorn? Doesn't the small clip and lengthy reload make it unbearable? Or do you wear arms with increased reload?

Because the DoT caused by its second ability is clutch. Also with HC gloves the reload isn't that bad and if your Hunter and have chain of woe on its non existent. And 2-3 is all I need to kill some. Furthermore the DoT prevents mobs shields from starting their regen
