Yes. It has a slow reload so hand cannon gloves are a must but its second ability, Mark of The Devourer is awesome. it causes DoT even in PvP. It's only like 7 damage per second and lasting 3-4 seconds but, you get a headshot and a few body shots, they will most like die to the DoT, even if they kill you before.

Plus they can't recover while the dot is n effect

love thorn. currently lvling the last word. so far i like thorn better for the DoT. so many postmortem medals.
