The Vex can teleport, some enemies can erect barriers over themselves, the hive uses magic, etc etc

Each species have similarities. Stealth vandals remind me a lot of hunters. Specifically bladedancers of course. And Dregs have the same melee as hunters. Vex can teleport and Goblins have the same melee as warlocks. Cabal have jetpacks like the titans and Legionary also do a punch melee like Titans. But Hive are unique. I'm curious about them and quite interested in The Dark Below.
