Lucky to have a Grimoire
Heh, most games don't have anything like the Grimoire in their "in-game" content if they have anything at all. So maybe take a second out of your day and think about that. Think about the fact that most games DONT HAVE ANYTHING like the companion. Think about that and be grateful, because Bungie didn't have to make one at all.

Lore wise, several games have as much. While Halo had no grimoire, it's in game storytelling was of a higher quaility, and there were entire books of lore. Sure, as a shooter it's fairly unique to have a lore companion, but another RPG/Shooter hybrid named Mass Effect (Only the later content, earlier was straight RPG) has a codex that blows this out of the water. Hell, the Codexes in those games are probably the best lore in any game.
