Hello, this is going to be a list of things that I personally think Bungie can fix to make this game better while keeping it within patches. I'm going to right as professionally as possible in hopes that they'll take the requests seriously if they see them.
1. Make the story missions better outlined. Color coordinate or better define the story missions. Obviously some story missions are a part of the main quest line and they should be outlined in a certain color. The other quests (side-quests or planet quests whatever they call them) should be outlined in a different color, this will help make sense of what missions are crucial for the story to progress and which ones are for the planet's individual stories.
2. Every boss should have a loot drop of some form. Even bosses that are in story missions. How Bungie defines "boss" is completely up to them. For example, I consider there to be three bosses in The Devil's Lair. The one boss at the end of the waves before you encounter the Devil Walker, the Devil Walker itself, and Septiks Prime. Each boss can drop loot depending on each players level and the difficulty of the boss. This means there would be at least three confirmed loot drops you would get for doing this strike, along with the ones you get after the strike is over.
3. Increase the vault size. This should be simple enough, I find myself running out of space to put all of my emblems that I may want to show off at different times.
4. Allow cutscenes skipping. Bungie, I have already seen the cutscenes a million times. Let players skip cutscenes after we've seen them the first time.
5. Have engram rewards at the end of matches and games be a little more predictable. I understand that you guys have stated that you like the randomness. But for the loot you get at the end of crucible matches, strikes, and missions they should at least be based off of some number. If that number is kills, assists, kdr, or score it doesn't matter. At least have some form of ratio.
6. Allow crucible matches to have a skilled player finding system. This way you don't get uncommon gear going up against legendary and exotic.
7. The Cryptarch. This is a very hot subject but I only aim to make small fixes. here's what I think the ratios should be -
Uncommon:
75% uncommon, 20% common, 5% rare
Rare:
No common, 70% rare, 15% uncommon, 12.5% items (strange coin etc.), 2.5% legendary
Legendary:
No common, No uncommon, 50% legendary, 35% rare, 12.5% items, 2.5% exotic.
8. Have a page where you can access grimoire cards in game. I enjoy reading all of the grimoire cards and I have made it my mission to find all of the dead ghosts without online help.
All of these updates would tremendously improve the game and many of them are minimal. They fix many problems that reviewers have been complaining about. Farming spots would also be less used because of the boss drops and better chance at engrams. This is a fairly long post so I hope at least one person took the time to read all of this.
