I don't know about anyone else, but when i'm playing patrol to farm materials or just fight the darkness. I find myself needing directions, a lot. I get turned around and lost easily and i was thinking what a great idea it would be to have a map i could open up to see where i'm at. It would be in the same interface used when i bring my ghost out to summon vehicle or go to orbit. could add another selector like "view map" which would bring up a map of earth/mars/moon/venus and i'd get to see exactly where i'm at on it. also it would be nice to move the curser around the map and simply pressing X on a spot to set a custom waypoint so i could navigate to it. this would be of tremendous help when navigating the open worlds of destiny and i don't think it would be too hard to implement seeing as how Destiny already has the waypoint system in place.
