PATCH NEEDED: Titan Catapult Fix - Please sign
In the current state the warlock and hunter have a useful last ability of their jumps which is a very very nice blink and triple jump.
Right now the titans catapult does absolutely nothing. It does not increase the speed or the height. I think an appropriate fix for this that fits with the class is to make it a VERY VERY strong burst of speed jump with no slow fall animation/speed.
Or
A very very fast initial burst jump that knocks back anyone near the takeoff point but can slow down to normal speed on the fall.
Right now the move is broken.

What about an "Armored Core 4" style quickboost to replace? Of course, it would need to be like blink though, where using it early in your jump will boost you upwards, using it late will boost you forward. The difference could be less speed than blink, but could maybe have two charges? I think it would be pretty cool and unique, since currently you can quick-tap "controlled lift" and gain comparable speeds to the current "catapult".

It needs to actually do what the name suggests and launch you forward really fast to compensate for not having blink.

I think it adds a fair amount of speed but not when using it as a jump. I use it when running. Single jump then right before I land I tap jump again and haul ass just off the ground. After two to three times I'll start going so damn fast. I like it a lot more than I've ever liked blink. It's not the greatest when it comes to height of course. But there's a jump for that which works quite well so I choose accordingly.

Catapult should be like the cabals jump. That quick launch in the air followed by a hard landing.

You have to spam the jump button, it will sling you into the desired direction.

Yeah it should do [b]something[/b] more. It really is totally unnoticeable. It's easily the worst of the lift perks. It just needs to be a more sudden lift. Doesn't need to be high, doesn't need to be far, just quick. It has nothing to do with Titan not being nimble. They're using a jet pack. That has nothing to do with physical limitations.

23 RisposteYou do realize that Titans aren't supposed to be the nimblest of classes right? Titans already have the most armor and defensive abilities. Warlocks and Hunters have less armor but that's the reason they have so much agility. They need to move around to stay out of danger.

Huh, catapult is a bad skill compared to other titan jumps. You are right though, it should give you that extra burst or something like that. So for the time being, I just leave it at increased height.

4 RisposteWhat if the titan Catapult perk was replaced with one called Charge or something that after 5 seconds of sprinting you gain a speed boost and run a bit faster. Allowing the titan to actually "charge" into battle.

2 RisposteCatapult works quite well. It is just too bad the Titan is slow. I have my agility maxed and the catapult option gets me out of harms reach very quickly. I agree, it does need a bit of a speed boost.

I don't think it needs a height boost, just change to the height jump in your subclass, I do think it needs a speed boost. The catapult is suppose to get you out of trouble when your almost out of time, most of the time it doesn't.
