Please NEVER make a public chat/trading
Please, Bungie, never add a public chat or trading into this game. Trading may be acceptable if it's inventive and very limited somehow. I don't want to hear/see everyone else's crap flooding my screen. It would take away from the air that the game has. Also, I love claiming my items and gear as my own- ones that I've unlocked and found

1 RispondiSome form of chat or in game communication method is needed other than the limited fire team chat. As for trading the only logical method of trading I could see implemented is a timed trade window for drops only to those who were present when the item was picked up.

Chat for sure. Trading limited to Exotic and legendary items, especially when you get items that are not for your class or if you have multiple of the same item.

1 RispondiMaybe a trade system that has to be equal vaule items. .so u cant trade a green lvl gun for a legendary gun...something along those lines

I could care less about chat, but yesterday I got legendary boots for a hunter. And my friend that plays as a hunter got a legendary chest plate for the Titan and we can't trade each other.

Chat yes Trading no Given the fact u need team work for weekly strikes and raids that have no match seems like an odd idea. Not to mention it would make people like myself have an easier time finding people to do the things that require a party. Yeah no on trading. As long as there's a trading system there's always a way to exploit it.

2 RisposteDude.... Really?..... We NEED a public trading system..... I can see the public chat cause of jerks who go around cussing people out cause there a different race or there worse players but we defiantly should have a public trading system.

4 RisposteI agree trading should never be implemented, or if is, limited to a small amount of items. No materials or resources from planets. Then it becomes oh I can just buy all legendary gear if I have enough glimmer. Earn your gear people, in the end when your all epic with your exotic gear you can then say im epic because of me not cause of some dude who sold it to me

I disagree. All bungie needs to do for a trade system is make a system that allows you to trade any item, that isn't exotic, and you can only trade legendaries if you are level 18+. Then they add it to the player interactions. Game chat wouldn't be a problem, as long as they do it right. If done correctly the voice chat could be over a certain proximity range for Patrol areas/mission areas, team chat for PVP and strikes, and the option to mute.

2 RisposteY would it matter if there was a trading system or a chat for the trading system h can trade some one who need something g that u over achieved on and on the chat every MMO u can turn the chat off or just switch to a different chat neither of those would effect u in any way if u just didn't do them both those things would help the game even more

2 RisposteI wish this game had some type of public chat, it would make finding people for stuff so much easier. I don't want trading added, but some way to easily chat with others (or easily turned off for those that don't want to chat) would be wonderful.
