Legendary Engrams Only Give Me Rare Items.
I've been playing Destiny all week. I finished the story the first day it was out, maxed out my Vangaurd marks for the week on the second day and been enjoying everything else since. But every time I get a legendary Engram it turns into a rare item. I was with my buddy when he decrypted a Legendary helmet, Body, and two identical LMG's, all legendary. The only legendary items I've gotten were a Scout Rifle and an LMG. That would be fine but I've gone through over 20 legendary Engrams. 3 helmets, 4 gauntlets, 5 boots, 3 chests,3 primaries, 3 secondaries, and 2 Heavies. I'm just getting sick and tired of getting rare armor. Plus the rare items I get from them are horrible. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this but it's really irritating me.

Yes I am having the same issue, which as you said is very frustrating. There no help from the game to let you know if you need to do anything differently...

I'm suffering the same fate. All my legendaries become rares and all my rares become uncommons or crappy items in general. I've been stuck with the same gear for several days as a result. Personally, legendary engrams are hard enough to get. I feel like we get trolled when it isn't a legendary. Or if it is, then it's for another class altogether. Just stop, Bungie. Let me enjoy this game.

ive had 13 legendary engrams, all but one were blue or greens. just hang in there lol

1 RispondiI had not gotten a legendary engram to drop until last night. I got four in about an hour span. All 4 were blue items, and 3 of those were level 16. That's mildly infuriating.

Nah just wait, the luck will swing back around. I had that happen to me, then I opened another legendary engram, got a exotic rocket launcher. Still haven't gotten a legendary out of the engram but I've gotten an exotic. Makes sense.

Around 95% of all blue engrams for me have turned out to be blue. However, I've scooped up around 10 legendary engrams and not a single one turned out to be a legendary. Could it just be bad luck and the RNG gods don't like me? Sure, but I think Bungie needs to inform the community about the game's drop rates, as something seems different with legendary engrams.

4 RisposteI'm having trouble even getting legendary engrams to begin with. I've only pulled one so far from the Crucible and none from Ishtar Commons farming or any strikes. The one that I did find turned out to be a green item.... great. I do have one legendary though that I managed to get from a blue engram. It's "The Cure" rocket launcher. Which I find unfortunate since I rarely use my heavy weapon.
