That sucks that an entire industry of reporting about the subject of games is so defensive on this issue. You'd think, since this is such a huge gaming story, that somebody would come out and both report on it, and then present all the details. Instead, as that article reports, the gaming journalism industry is simply attacking the only demographic it appeals to. What do they think will happen to them if they destroy their own consumer foundation? Who in the Hell do they think will read their shit? This whole scandal is retarded. The journalists can't expect to maintain their jobs if they turn on the very people who read their material.
