My Guardian is only dead in the physical sense. His body is gone. However, his Ghost has his Light within him, awaiting his awakening. He has to get new weapons and new armor, but he will still be the character I once knew. He may look different, but in character and personality, he is the Hunter I played the Alpha and the Beta with. He is alive, he is awaiting the re-awakening, the fight will finally start. The Fallen, the Hive, the Cabal, and the Vex will bow down in fear once he is done with his journey. In my Guardians last moments in that world, he knew that he would awaken once again. Maybe with no memories, maybe with an empty void inside him, however, he knew he would fight the Darkness once again. On 9/9 he will awaken. He will be reborn. He will fight back the Darkness, as all of us will. We are Guardians, beings who died a long time ago, but were brought back to life by the light of the Traveler, we are all brothers and sisters.
