There was a post about this earlier that caught my eye that seemed to be ignored. Chat boxes within the Tower or anywhere seems like it would improve Destiny. With an option to change the size, location, and opacity of the chat box, it would make this social game much better. The use of chatpads, keyboards, and fast controller typing would help. To do this, Bungie/Actvision could make it so that holding the d-pad in a direction gives you an option to choose from multiple actions like dancing/sitting and using for example: d-pad down to activate the chatting. With chat boxes being optional in settings, there wouldn't be any harm if players had a way of knowing who was using it like how they know who has a mic.
