I was good friends with a girl a couple of years ago. There was some sort of accident at her house and she was forced to move away to Sydney. A couple of days after she left, her boyfriend broke up with her. Apparently he thought she was cheating on him with me. He didn't confront me about it and I didn't find out until about a month or so later. Long story short, she basically cut me off when they broke up. We talked a couple of times, then suddenly nothing. She didn't respond to texts or calls and wouldn't respond to fb messages. So I gave up. I thought that it wasn't worth the hassle. Lately I've wondered how she is and I'm not too sure why. Our mutual best friend at the time is now pregnant, which could be why I'm wondering what's happening. But then tonight she sent me a friend request on facebook. Not sure if I should bother with the "oh hey, how have you been?" and other niceties or just forget it. Thoughts?
