I think at certain times as you get further away from the ghost it should crackle through onto the controller. If you played the alpha, on the strike, you can walk away from the ghost while it is working, and it sounds like static garbles it like you are losing connection it would be cool if it switched over to controller like it was coming over a comm system. I just want them to use the speaker. i have had some really cool immersion moments, in other games, with it and I look forward to some inclusion into Destiny. I play at night quite a bit too. Right next to the Mrs., even, I am glad that it just routes all sound to the headphones when plugged in. Pretty cool.
