Max Level???!!!
Can anyone tell me the max level???!!!! i saw that it was 20 in the alpha but that can not be the max... i did watch the new trailer and saw there were level 24 cabal so that gives me a little hope! i am hoping for at least 40 but i have faith bungle won't let me down!!!
Any comments and thoughts are much appreciated!
And I know the level cap was 8 in the alpha but the highest level gear I saw was 20...
UPDATED! i have found out at least 29 but soft cap at 20 with light makes you go over...

2 Risposteheres the proof that Light stat increases the lv. The hard cap is lv20, but greater items at lv20 increases your characters level beyond 20 :)

Like a few have said, 50 is presumably the cap, but you have three characters, so ~150 levels worth, not to mention the sort of unconventional leveling system made up of your phat loot, and da quest for more of Dat loot. So I'm sure they will have enough stoof to satisfy any endgame-robo-space-pimp-that-is-also-a-wizard-from-the-moon-with-space-magic-and-stoof.

5 RisposteHoping the level cap peaks at Lvl. 50 and then is raised in iterations of 10 during expansions (Massive DLC).

A few weeks ago Deej made mention of the "fact" that they only want it to take a few hours to get to "cap" and, then, open up "endgame" as continual gear acquisition and improvement. In this fashion, leveling continues (your gear requires more experience to improve) but none of the planet-side content has to become irrelevant (too low level) nor too difficult (talking about exploration, not strikes or the raid).

I'm pretty sure that the max level is 20. If I'm not mistaken, Deej said as much along the way. Level 24 Cabal is to keep it challenging The RPG element is just one small part. There will still be cool gear to find and earn in the crucible, at least three difficulty settings for strikes and raids, and keeping the level cap low, allows for level increases along the way with DLC Remember Fallout? The level cap there was 20, which increased over time with DLC. My guess is we will fight enemies up to five levels higher than us to encourage teamwork The fact that the game relies heavily on its shooter elemts, means you won't lose interest once you hit the cap. As a matter of fact, I think the game just gets warmed up at that point

1 Rispondihey all, in the PS4 sharing commercial at 14- 16 seconds in, you can clearly see that the guardian in front of the one you are viewing through is level 33 i link the video. Not sure what the max level will be but it looks to be higher then 20 from this video.

16 RisposteHardcap for now seems to be lv20, but there are ways to go beyond that. Some legendary gear have this stat called "Light", and this stat will push your level up depending on the value, or so i have understood. So lets say you're level 20, and you find this fine piece of loot, gloves for example. These gloves have a stat Light+2, this means it will raise your level from 20 to 22 when you equip it. This was all in the alpha already ;) You could examine these items that had that light stat and it said something along those lines i explained. As for the ultimate maximum level with these light stats, we don't know yet, could be 40, could be 50, could even be 100, we don't know how high those will take us

Cuz in the regular weapon and armor shops the items for sale increased in level as my character leveled up. By the time I was level 8 the gear in the shops got up to like 11-12.

1 RispondiI have to admit, when I heard that the level cap for the full game was 20 I thought it seemed a little bit to low for how big the game is supposed to be, but then again we don't know how hard it will be to level up so it's all one big mystery lol

So,watching to this threads,i arrived a conclusion. Lvl 20 = Gear and weapons and lvl 50 the char,isnt it???

It's possible to kill enemies a few levels higher so it might just be gold tier stuff (T3)
