It's the Internet. Sheesh, why are people surprised that others are jerks when try can be totally anonymous to those who they don't like? That's why I reveal as little as possible about myself to these boards or anywhere. The Internet isn't the place to bare your soul to the world. I'm not defending the assholish nature of people as a good thing, but I'd say it shouldn't be surprising. From what I understand you are not a cis-het. I applaud your ability to pridefully announce this, but people suck and they don't like when people are different from the norm. This has been true since forever. I mean, Hell, people are still racist. You're different and so people will attack that since they are given anonymity here. Again, it's not right, but it's the unfortunate scenario. You seem proud of who you are, so I would say not to let idiots get to you when they attack you or people like you. It's not like their opinions are really important, right? Either that, or don't let them know who you are and hide in the anonymity of it all like I try to.
