American drug policy
In America, drugs and drug policy are currently one of the biggest issues socially and politically. And with Colorado and Washington having legalized pot, and states like California and Oregon looking to follow soon, the topic has been thrust into the spotlight. So flood, what do you think about drugs and their legalization?
Personally I support the legalization of all drugs. The 'war on drugs' has been a miserable failure, and an immense waste of money. Further it's created an entire class of nonviolent, victimless criminals, and diverted law enforcement away from much more important things. And when we look at Colorado, or the medical industries in stated like CA, it becomes obvious that we have nothing to lose, and all to gain.

1 RispondiI would not use drugs if they were legal, but they probably should be legalized. While some may disagree with me, if you look at those in jail for drug-related offenses, they are inordinately black. And it isn't because they are more likely to use. Overcrowding is another huge issue.
