Capes make everything epic...even while wearing armour, but what confuses me the most is why is his still in his suit?! He took it off at the end of part 4, they better have an epic reason for this...

That is silly. He didn't permanently take it off! He will put his armour back on and off between missions!

Yep cause in every halo game so far he takes his armour off in between missions, e.g. like in the middle of a jungle

He doesn't just sit around in his armour permanently when he is having a snooze or a sandwich. Its just like soldiers don't wear their combat uniforms all the time.

Yeah but if you think about it, at the end of 4, you would of thought it was done. Cortana died, he saved earth and such. And by the way he took off his armour, I just thought he gave up, or just to be 'human' again instead of being a 'machine'. He looked pretty old and I don't honestly think his going to last in the new halo because of new and improved Spartans ( maybe there called guardians now ).

There are always battles and skirmishes in which Chief would be deployed. But yeah, judging from the halo 5 trailer he does perhaps leave the UNSC behind.
