How about letting player paly music into the game
If players could play music accessible from their PS3/4 Xbox 360/One into the game i feel that it would help build on the social aspect of the game. ie: play some tunes while on a mission with your fire team, or dance party in town square
What do you guys think of this idea?

1 Rispondii know some ppl like music but i hope i can turn off all music. i like to emerse my self in the world that will be this involved. if i was rly the Guardian walking around old russian there would be no music floating around u at all times that is unreal and makes the game play less real. atleast give ppl the option i say to turn off or on music.

2 RisposteModificato da Azhidal: 5/1/2014 2:27:58 AMmusic would be hearable only to your fire team, or unless you turn on a public noise option(this would give a disclaimer incase of profanity) and then other people with this option turned on could hear music, public conversations, etc... /edit/ then you could also be able to adjust the range that your avatar picks up these sounds so you don't get destroyed by the noise of everyone in the city. along with this should be a way to eaves drop on other peoples private conversations so you can stalk them and steal missions from them before they can complete them(though im not sure how that would even work(if at all) or how you could mission steal(maybe complete it faster?(parentheception))).

3 RisposteNo way the amount of times i have to listen to really really bad hiphop(i don't mind it in general) showed me that playing music trough the consol during a game is just a bad idea. Sorry but i doubt most ppl on this want to listen to five finger death punch or killswitch engage. And i ain't gona bother going into the more abstract music i listen to in my spare time.

I just want to add, criticisms are grate and all but if you guys could try to think of ways of implementing this or a system like it rather then listing ways it wont work then i feel that it would make for a better discussion and might lead to better things.

2 RisposteTo start, the music can be on the console and be accessible threw a UI, to reduce spaminess it should be simulated as a sound in the 3d space so, from farther away it cant be hear and it can be heard directionally. If that's still to spamy then it could be auto muted or just could be on channel for your fire team to only be able to hear.
