Hello Flood, I'll try to make it short: Basically, my friends wanted me to go to prom with them, so I agreed to take this girl with me and I just realized that there's no way I'm gonna have fun there (after-prom could be better but, ehh) and I dont wanna take this girl. It's not that she's ugly, she's probably one of the prettier girls at my school, but she's also incredibly dumb. I'd rather not hurt her feelings by just telling outright that i don't want to go... How do i fake my death to avoid this? (or something) TL;DR : No longer want to go to prom, how do i tell my date/fake my death to avoid her? UPDATE: So, I've come to the realization of why I really did what I did. I asked her out of my own selfishness. To know that I could or something I guess... Some of you said I should just take her for her sake, but I can't do that. I feel like it would be worse to be fake with her and take her just to satisfy my own vanity/self-love. (I know my teenage angst/edginess is showing here) I'm just gonna tell her the truth tomorrow and hopefully she can forgive me. Most likely this will destroy my already sterling reputation with the girls here. Which is probably better than I deserve...
