Their commitment to the Constitution is commendable. But a lot of their policy prescriptions, particularly in regards to economic policy, would be ineffective at best. Since no Tea Party politician has ever led the executive branch (and no majority in legislature), they have the benefit of being able to voice radical ideas because they are popular in sound bytes but not having to act on those ideas.
