These updates are getting really -blam!-ing annoying.
They used to generate hype, now they just aggravate. It's like that annoying rich kid in Middle School. Always bragging about having the newest, latest shit, and then he and his lackeys making fun of you for not having it as well.
In the case of Bungie and Destiny; you guys aren't really releasing shit, and you're everyone under the sun play the game except for one specific demographic. The people who're actually going to be playing your -blam!-ing game.
What kind of bullshit is that? Push back the Beta. Push back the release date. Then let everyone else in the -blam!-ing world play it except for the people who're going to make it possible for you all to make a living off of Destiny.
These goddamn "updates" are a sad, pathetic joke. Even the "Mail (ball)Sack" answers nothing but vague words meant to tease and generate excitement, but only treating the writer as if they're an idiot and just "not in on the inside joke".
Either release something of heft about the game or shut the -blam!- up. You're getting damn annoying.

Everyone wants to know more juicy details about the game, but they can't just throw it at our faces all at once. I'm pretty sure Deej has the following in mind when writing the weekly update: Always leave them wanting more. Also the fact that they pushed back the beta is actually a good thing (at least I think it is) because that means they'll get to polish the whole experience more, so when the time finally arrives it'll be so awesome that it melts your face right off. And a little humour in the answers of the mail sack never hurt anyone I guess?

Agree 100%. Is the game that shallow that we have to get questions about the Super Bowl and what employees do on a Tuesday night (really lame question, like are they all clones that perform the same task ?!?) ... and yet these type of filling questions get answered week-after-week. Proof of this is the fact that the thread containing the sack questions gets hidden each week - some lame attempt to stop people knowing the full depth of questions getting asked. Be better to drop the "Weekly" and just drip feed some real updates as they become available. We all know that with the release date being pushed out a year it would be difficult to make the PR material stretch ... but this is just embarrassing.

So upset over something so trivial... dude you need therapy. Of course with a name that means "Vampire Night", I'm not entirely certain I'd expect anything less. Careful being that edgy, you might cut yourself. Personally, I like the updates, Deej is entertaining. Even if information is sparse, I like reading them, they are just another part of my week that makes me smile. Besides, I vastly prefer this to the silence that surrounded previous Bungie titles. TLDR: your comment was completely unnecessary, if you're that stressed out, see a therapist. There are plenty of people who enjoy these posts and your hatred accomplishes nothing.

Well, whatever they are doing, I think they nailed it. It sure got you goin crazy over it. Kind of reminds me one time when I had to rush out of a girl's house with blue balls cause her parents came home....I was like God dammit ! What the -blam!-! At least help me finish in some dark alley God dammit! Ahhhh...to be young again. So yea. Do what I did back then. I watched some porn and got a great forearm workout. Mission accomplished. Oh yea...this is kind of a different problem...ok...I see your point. But really in all seriousness...you must be one of those people who reads Wikipedia about a movie before seeing it. For some of us, that absolutely ruins the experience. I'd rather be lost in a trailer and looking forward to watching it. There's obvious hints about beta...in my opinion the hints are of it perhaps coming out sooner. Could be wrong, but if I'm right than that would be awesome. More New people test and play,more approve of the build, the faster beta build is accessed. Summer sounds fine as well though.

If you don't like the update, don't read it. No one is forcing your hand here. Gain some patience. I have a good feeling Destiny is going to be well worth the wait.

They prefere to let you experience the game yourself when it comes out instead of just giving you all the info 8 months before release. As for those who play it right now they are testers... that doesnt need explanation. You know what, why do i even bother you are obviously someone who wont realy care about the game you will just play it for a couple of months and then leave it for a new release. If bungie annoys you that much get out of their site, watch only youtube videos about the game and wait until release or better yet completly ignore and never buy this game.

Whoa whoa whoa, don't get too worked up over this man! If you're excited for the game just try your best to wait patiently. It's coming, it may be far away, but it'll be here. And if DeeJ's replies annoy you sometimes (I know they've rubbed me the wrong way before), just don't read his posts. Just watch one of the YouTube channels for destiny news, all those guys are like giddy little kids for this game and pounce on new information. I'm guessing they'll be a lot easier to hear news from than DeeJ, for you at least. I actually relatively enjoyed this one compared to previous ones.
