New Yugioh series!

It's going to have new main characters and monsters. I'm sure the TCG will be getting some new mechanics as well.
What do you think of the different Yugioh TV series? and how much did you see of each of them?
Here's my answers, but I recommend you conclude your opinion without others influencing you.
[spoiler]Original- I've seen every single episode and liked it all quite a lot
GX- I've seen every single episode and liked it all quite a lot
5D's- I saw the first 56 episodes, and I thought it was okay
Zexal- I saw parts from 2 episodes, and it looked pretty terrible[/spoiler]

5 RisposteModificato da Legendary: 12/12/2013 9:25:46 AM5D's was the best series, GX was good also after the first 2 seasons (Season 4 was amazing), the original was good but it broke a lot of the actual rules of the game, and Zexal 2 was pretty good... we don't talk about original Zexal... Probably will not watch much unless it has a more interesting setting and storyline to it.

11 RisposteI watched up to GX and enjoyed them a lot. I don't like the Syncro summoning or XYZ cards which allow people to summon 4 3000 atk or more overpowered effect monsters on their 1st turn and win in 1 turn. They are crazy OP and it's ruined the game.

The seasons with Yugi are the best, I don't like the other characters.

I liked the original, and I loved every episode of GX. 5Ds just strayed from what Yugioh is IMO, and for that, I don't think it's too good. The rest shall not be mentioned.

2 Rispostegood old yugioh. i remember the last episode i watched was the fight in a huge tower or something. it was during the god card era or whatever. i also remember a blimp.

1 RispondiI haven't watched Yugioh since Yugi defeated Marik. Apparently there's black and white cards now and something called synchro and tuner and stuff. I'm still bitter about them changing Magic cards to Spell cards. I just can't handle that level of change.

1 RispondiStopped watching after mid-way through that dueling school series. There's actually a lot of people at my college who still play Yu-Gi-Oh and they don't look like nerds. I may purchase some of the original cards to play
