well, using a melee weapon. or melee in general gives me a feeling like im a total bad-ass. you get all close then you're like whicha. even if the weapons aren't that effective they should be included. because if they don't, it will end up like Halo ce where the enemy kills you with a melee weapon, but you cant kill them with one... because there wasn't one. that's why in halo 2 they added the energy sword, then in halo 3 the Gravity hammer. because its needed. and i think in a Destiny preview i saw something like the bubble shield, so sword+bubble shield= one bubble you don't wanna go near. so yes they should, even as just a small side-project. test stuff out. if it doesent work, just don't put it in the next game, but it will...
