What is so bad about Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns"?
So, after finishing Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns", I have to say, it was pretty interesting.
So, why is it so bad that Batman kicks the crap out of Superman? He had the Kryptonite, and the sun had been blotted out. Seems ideal, no?

I really don't care if Batman beats Superman, it's been done decently before (albeit much less than the number of times Supes has awesomely beat the sh1t out of Bats), but when you f*ck with the character like that, it's just dumb. Oh, and as a Batman fan I have qualms with it as well. This isn't Batman. It's some edgy vision of the hate Frank Miller has for this world. Yeah, yeah, elseworld depiction, whatever. The only reason it gets so much praise is because it was unusually 2edgy4u for comics at the time. If you look at every other work Miller has made so far it's been horrible (some of them... [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holy_Terror_%28graphic_novel%29]more[/url] than others). Hell, look at the direct sequel- Dark Knight Strikes Again. It is [i]utter bullsh1t.[/i]

1 RispondiAre you asking what's so bad about "the Dark knight returns" because it takes place after "rises," that you just watched, or was that a typo? Either way, I haven't seen any of them unless they're that cartoon where Green Arrow shot Supes with some kryptonite while Batman distracted him.
