Most people who love Cowboy Bebop didn't have a problem with the ending, mainly because they didn't understand the ending or what Spike was accomplishing (which in all honesty, he wasn't accomplishing shit). In most fans views, the entire series was great, and therefore the ending had to be great. The same can be said for DTB Season 2, most people that did like Season 2 didn't have a problem with the ending despite the fact it was a total train wreck.
