Who do you think lies more?
Both lie. In fact both lie more than they tell the truth. But they don't lie in equal proportions. One has to be even a little more dishonest than the other.

I'd say Republicans are generally misguided but honest, and Democrats are generally misguided liars. But they're both usually wrong.
