I have now begun muting with reckless abandon!
I was not a huge fan of the mute function when it came out, I viewed it as a cheap solution to a fix that was better treated with a BAN.
After some diligent muting I am quite astounded by the clear air in the forums, and I advise others who have not done so to start ASAP!
Sure it still takes a while, but once you are done it's satisfying that the losers are gone. (ie. the people pushing for sexuality of various sorts in Destiny, har har!)

1 RispondiI do a good amount of hiding threads. If I notice that someone is consistently making threads that I hide and none that I consider valuable, interesting or valid? Then I'll mute them, just to save myself having to keep hiding their topics one at a time.
