I get the need to patent such an amazing idea of forcing advertising during interactive content - you can license it to foolish companies who would be willing to implement it in 99-cent games and apps in order to make the most money out of their app. But let's be real - if anyone were to implement this within their game or app, especially if it were a non-indie commercial prospect, they would lose any future purchases from me, and most likely others, for the rest of time. Also, companies patent everything they possible can, its standard and its done so that if someone in the future does this, or attempts to do this Sony is not cut out of the action, and gets paid. They patent even the most minor and stupid things.
