You are supporting genocide if you support the Syrian Opposition. And don't think that the only reason why it's genocide is because the victims are Christians. The same thing has happened to Shiite Muslims. Assad might not be the kindest leader, but he is a better alternative than another islamic state. And the Free Syrian Army is mostly, if not all, muslim. A person of any other religion is less likely to commit atrocities against his fellow religion. Also, the Free Syrian Army has declared it's allegiance to Al Queda, the U.S.A.'s worst enemy. We have armed them once. Look what happened there. If we arm them again, the same situation will happen.
