Why is Bungie sending our data to Google!?
So I was browsing Bungie on Firefox and something in the corner caught my eye. After checking again it confirmed my fear: Whenever I load a page on Bungie.net something is going to Google. I took two well-timed screenshots and cropped them together in MSPaint.
This never used to happen!

1 RispondiThe Google request is for Google Analytics. It gathers things like how long you're visiting the site, what pages you go to, browser usage, etc. This information is available to us, but we didn't want to have to write our own analytics tools when Google's are excellent. This call isn't new, either, we've been using it for some time.
