http://musicbrainz.org/doc/MusicBrainz_Picard I've finally decided to try to tackle the mess that is my digital music collection. Organize, tag, cover images, the works. This appears to be one of the more powerful tools out there. I've tried before with WMP, iTunes, MediaMonkey, etc. and they've never been as helpful as I hoped. Is anyone familiar with or use this? Know of something better? I have a literal shit-ton of music that has gotten pretty disorganized and trashed over time (a lot of it due to these other tools renaming, moving and messing things up worse than when I started). Any advice from folks with OCD and a recommendation would be most welcome.
