I find it funny that bungie said my character is unique, just like everybody else. Suspicious

Well it's impossible for anyone, even twins, to be exactly the same because the human nervous system Connectdome cannot be replicated in another human. In Destiny odds are there will be characters with the same physical features, maybe even the same gear. But they probably won't paint their ship the same, and of course they will have a name different from yours.
