Would Electric Cars Sell...
If they were more attractive?
I think a big factor in electric cars not selling is that they look super ugly.
Just look at the[url=http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/08/nissan-leaf_lo_630.jpg] Nissan Leaf! [/url]
Electric cars aren't too bad and they some pretty good benefits. I honestly wouldn't mind having an electric car if it actually decent.
And I'm sure people wouldn't mind having a [url=http://images.thetruthaboutcars.com/2009/10/tesla_roadster2.jpg] Tesla Roadster [/url] but then again not everyone has $80k to drop on a car. The expensiveness of the car pretty much cancels out the benefit of not paying for gas.
I mean is it so hard to make an attractive looking car, that's economical, and cheap?!
What do you think flood? Would you buy an electric car if it was more attractive? Discuss.

6 RisposteI actually like the leaf. I think it looks good and is a decent car. The thing that turns me off to electric cars is price and range. They're more expensive then cars of similar size. Plus the range on cars such as the leaf isn't very good, and recharge times too. I know cars like the model s have better ranges, but they're still expensive. I have nothing against the electric car, I just think the tech needs to be improved before I think about getting one.
