24 Hour Day/Night Cycle?
I am wondering if anyone knows anything about how the Day/Night cycle will work in Destiny. I personally would love it if Bungie somehow found a way to make a 24 hour cycle match the exact time of day. Like whenever it's night or daytime where you live, the game will change at the same time. This would be so cool!

I hope that they don't use a real time day/night cycle. I do hope that Bungie decides to use a shorter day/night cycle that takes about an hour(for example) for a full cycle. And that the day/night cycle is the same for all the players. So that it's night for me and my buddy(or random players) at same time.

I hope the day/night cycle is relative to the planet and it's position to the sun, rather than a single unified cycle for all locations.

I just hope its not like skyrim where it feels like a day is only 10 minutes.

1 RispondiThe only problem with realtime day/night cycles, is that it restricts certain players to a certain time of day. For most gamers, the only time they can play games is at night. Nighttime is cool and all, but it would get boring after a while. A better way to do it would to be to have abbreviated day/night cycles, so no matter when you play, you have a chance to experience both day and night.

5 RisposteThis would be great but since we are almost always with somebody on the same map there is a problem. It couldn't work since one player may be from other country than the other is.
