Subjective reality.
Are morals subjective? Indee they are in my opinion. Morals are dictated by ruling parties. If no one told you killing was wrong, you wouldn't think twice about doing it in self defense or too further your gain. If nobody told you stealing was wrong you'd do it to further gain.
These are my examples. It is the same as an objective sense of truth and how such a thing doesn't exist. Too many fields and formulae to consider. Many cultures have different morals and this is collectively my example.

1 RispondiModificato da Seggi: 4/26/2013 6:40:57 AMThere's obviously no such thing as objectively true moral laws. Morality doesn't really exist, there are just actions that produce ends, and we can judge the actions based on whether or not we like the ends.

1 RispondiI say its a double edged sword. It can keep a society from killing its self from within, but it will also hinder our growth when things that can benefit us are stopped because its not "morally" correct. Like stem cell research. And other examples.

3 RisposteA world without morality is less organised, less developed, and generally conduces to an unproductive and psychologically damaging environment. Whatever use moral codes have been corrupted to in the past and present, their essential efficaciousness remains.
